We Recommend that if we can get a wire to the cameras location, then hardwired is the way to go. Theres a lot of misunderstanding with wireless cameras and the downsides to them.

That all depends on how many cameras and how often movement is in front of them. We setup the system to record only on motion. Also the size of the HDD. Our systems roughly have a cycle of 3 months worth of recording.
